Oil Spill Cleanup

The cleanup work associated with hazardous/toxic spillage creates additional requirements as well as increased risk of loss of funding in case of deviations from the rigid requirements and grant conditions.

This cleanup project survived the scrutiny and featured a competitive procurement, selection of a specialized and licensed contractor, and utilization of approved landfill for hazardous waste disposal.

Additionally, the site restoration required continued soil testing until the removal of all contaminated ground was confirmed in lab testing.
